Ragen Howey is a mama of two, fitness instructor, yoga enthusiast and full-time nurse who witnesses miracles almost every day! With her bachelor's degree in nursing she has been supporting families in Midland as they bring their babies into this world since 2008. Ragen came into yoga several years ago and immediately tuned in to the mind-body connection. Through her own practice she realized the true essence of yoga and naturally began sharing the practice with her children. Her journey to Well-Bean began when she brought her daughter to her first Mini-Sprouts Preschool Yoga class and felt instantly at home. Ragen joins Well-Bean as a kids’ yoga teacher to share her positive energy and passion for wellness and continue her support of children and families in Midland.
Laura began practicing yoga in 2006 and fell in love with the entire experience. After several years, she decided it was time to deepen her practice and enroll in a Yoga Teacher Training program. She completed the training in 2012 and received her Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) designation from Yoga Alliance.
After the birth of her first son in late 2012, she realized that her true passion was in prenatal yoga. Having practiced through both her pregnancies, she understands the benefit of a regular practice on how we carry and birth our babies.
To further her education, she sought out Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Laurel Hicks of Mindful Mamas Prenatal Yoga. In addition to her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher designation, Laura completed an additional 60 hour program, specializing solely in teaching the expectant mom.
Laura believes in celebrating the expectant mom and the inner wisdom of her body and baby. Wellspring is a place for all expectant moms to come together to prepare their body, mind and spirit for pregnancy, birth and motherhood. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge about pregnancy and birth, women will build community with other expectant moms who understand what you are going through!

Peggy has been practicing yoga for several years, has recently been certified by the OmBodies' Yoga Studio teaching training program and is now a RYT-200 with Yoga Alliance. She has also completed training on Mindfulness for Stress Management through Mindfulness of Mid-Michigan at Partners in Change.
Her love for her own yoga practice, and the balance and grounding she has personally experienced through the connection of mind, body and spirit drove her toward deeper study. Her goal is to integrate the practice of Yoga (pose/asanas, breathing, centering/meditation) along with mindfulness discipline to increase the health and well-being for all students. Her classes are a vinyasa (breath + movement) flow style with options offered for all levels to encourage safety and alignment. A variety of sun salutation flows and different focus areas (muscle groups, peak poses, yoga philosophy) are offered to keep each class interesting and inspiring!
